5 P1800 Magasinet nr 2 - 2018 H ello P 1800 friends! Now the editor works so fast with the club magazines that I'm having trouble hanging out. A nice thing for a chairman. In these recent times snow and snowmobile is a particular topic of discussion. Then I usually use to tell about the snow cannon over my hometown of Gävle in early December 1998. Meteorological conditions: northeast wind, ice-free in the bottom sea and clouds that release snow. Me and Gunilla went home and north on Friday night, hardly any snow at all. We simply could not get home. That said, we turned and spent two nights at a hotel in Söderhamn. We did not really get back home without the police's OK but as the notorious contender of the order I was at that time and with inside in- formation from a neighbor we took the chance to go on the old coastal road (Riks 13) between Söderhamn and Gävle on Wednesday. It went well anyway then. How it looked on our street, I skipped, but still mentioned that we had 130 cm of snow outside the kitchen window and 180 cm outside the front door and that the black VW Golf GTI that stood in the garage uphill did not seem at all. I located it by using the shaft of the piasavak suspension. It became a spring after the snowfall 1998 and it will be a spring also in 2018. Then you see in this magazine that there are many hits to choose from and participate in. I thank everyone who arranges and arranges these hits for joy to all our club members! When choosing a meeting, one may use the principle that my old geography teacher used to mention, though in other contexts: "either the joy of the rejoicing or the pleasure of the news." Then I think our hits give the opportunity to recall old acquaintances but also to meet new nice P1800 enthusiasts. So hang on! It is not particularly exciting to mention that the club's management report with financial accounts for 2017 is ready and handed over to the auditors, but I mention it anyway. This is the tenth financial statement I made in my role in the club, but there is no major magic art with the good and accurate treasurer we have. Now Gunilla and I are preparing to go home the same way we should have been in 1998. Although there is a lot of snow now, I'm also sure that we are going home without an overnight stay this time.
